It is free of charge to look in the shop window, - the web site.
The charge for using the facilities is 20 pounds. per operation when you place your demands or if you want to reserve a volume for sale. This charge is to cover the handling of the system and do not give any guarantee that the deal will be concluded. The charge should also avoid non serious use of the site.
When your offer has been activated, it is brought out for sale in all of Europe through our extensive advertising campaign in four languages.

If you want to see the demands from the buyers, it is free of charge, but if you want to give an offer to supply one of them, it will cost 20 pounds to reserve the demand until you have received a reply to your offer.

For all deals concluded, there is a general charge of 2,5% to cover administration and costs of marketing.

We have chosen a model whereby we combine a test labelling with the height measurements and a photo. Hereby the buyer will know the quality, the average height and the type of trees.

It will be done as follows:
The representation must be a minimum of 5% ( Every 20th row in very regular plantations) but normally 10%. The quality labelling must follow the European grading rules, which will be known to the major producers.
Most labels will have the standard trade mark of Original Nordmann. Unclassified trees must not carry any name.
Offers will vary in accordance with the situation in the plantations, - if the area is well maintained, large and regular or if it is neglected and small, - if it is the first choice in a new production area or if it is the last recovery of the left -overs.
However it is conditional to e-business, and it is a question of confidence, that the facts are known before beginning the quarrel about the price.

There will always be qualities which are defined subjectively such as colour, density and regularity. To get an honest description of these, we have decided to include a photo in the descriptions.

Sales of Christmas Trees can be based upon the following conditions:
1. Sale of standing trees. No service and no cost to the producer.
2. Sale -free loaded on lorry. This is the most common practice, and it includes the possibilities of buyers own labelling or use of his labels and pricing.
3. Sale free house -delivered buyers address. This is a full service product including the control of the logistics.

All offers are based upon the description of the trees by the seller, as shown above.
If the quality, the size and the type of tree is known, the offer should be as well described as possible and the time consuming trips around to the different areas with the wholesalers can be avoided. If none of the available offers are attractive, the buyer can register as user and present his demand by following the instructions. The charge for this is 20 pounds.
If a deal is concluded there will be a charge of 2,5% to cover administration and marketing.
This year we will operate a manual registration parallel to the internet registration, in order to prevent unforeseen problems and to assure confidence.

QUANTITY: For contracts the quantity may deviate from the agreed quantity by ± 10 %, both as a total and within the agreed grades.

CUTTING/FELLING: Shall be carried out within the agreed period. strong heat and high winds may e.g. result in the cutting period being shortened or the cutting time being postponed.

GRADING: All preparations shall be in accordance with the grading rules currently in force (unless otherwise agreed upon)

INSPECTION: Where the buyer request so in advance, the seller shall be obliged to present for inspection all growths from where the goods may be taken for a given delivery.

TIME OF DELIVERY: The agreed times of delivery and quantities shall be observed by both parties Deviations shall only be permitted when agreed between the buyer and seller.

DELIVERY NOTE: With exact description of the quantity and type shall be issued by the seller for each delivery. As per specific agreement with the buyer, the delivery note shall either accompany the goods or be sent to the buyer.

TRANSFER OF RISK: The goods shall be remain at the seller's account and risk in all respects until the agreed time of delivery.

COMPLAINT: In order to be considered to have been made on time complaints shall be made at the latest 48 hours after unloading. The buyer shall be entitled to return the quantity. Complaints about hidden flaws and serious flaws (e.g. loss of needles) can, however, be made later.

If the parties cannot reach an agreement about grading or other matters relating to a quantity of greenery/Christmas trees, any disagreements shall be settled by two experts to be appointed jointly by the buyer and seller. If the buyer and seller cannot reach an agreement based on the experts' award, the matter shall be settled by the courts.

FORCE MAJEURE: All contracts of sale shall be subject to a reservation as to delay caused by strike, lockout or any other case of force majeure.

DISPUTES: all disputes arising between the parties as a result of this contract/framework agreement shall be governed by Danish law. The parties to the contract submit to the jurisdiction of the court where the seller had his residence at the time of the making of this contract/framework agreement.
